Looking so good, Room 22!  

Skill
1. Start with the large shapes and outlines first - face, head, hair, chin
2. Whisper with your pencil. Soft short strokes to get the general size and proportion.
3. Observe carefully distances, shapes and sizes
4. Make the lines harder when you have achieved the shapes and sizes you want.
5. Smaller detail next - eyes, nose, eyelashes, eyebrows
6. Shading - where is it needed compared to the photograph

1. Choose 3 colours for your background.
2. Blocks of colour so no white paper is showing

1. Frame on black or white paper.
2. Write your name to sign your work.

Kobe Last day

Water Wise Thursday 10th March

At long last!  After our first session when we ran out of time to have a turn and then our second session which was cancelled through bad weather ..... we finally did our capsize!

Everyone capsized and everyone came back in smiling after the 50 metre swim - through the lake weed and clambered up the ramp back to the dock.    We even had time to either kayak or sail.  Great skills Room 22!  On our blog next week will be Procedural writing for how to capsize a optimist.

Our learning blogs started

This week in IT, we set up our blogs as a place to share our work.  It has been a considerable frustration for Mrs Robson when we couldn't write down the address correctly of our blog so she could link it to this Room 22 blog!  Half now linked and the other half to still be linked!  

How to write a blog comment:   Watch this You Tube link before you write a comment on the writing shared on the blogs.    Our focus for the writing about the beach was to show personal voice.  We were wanting to describe how the experience was personally for us. Please make comment on the personal voice and what we have shared that was important to us from the trip.
